InnerLight Spiritual Center

The History of The InnerLight Spiritual Center

It seems like only yesterday that the physical location of the InnerLight Spiritual Center was dismantled.  That occurred in 2002.

It has given me time to reflect on the nature of my journey.  As I drove home the other day, I reflected on the name alone.

Inner - the spirit within.
Light - the illumination of the spirit within.
Spiritual - the essence of the spirit within.
Center - where the spirit within dwells.

I had thought about bringing closure to both my affection for the memories as well as the site.  But it was at that time I was given the interpretation of the center's name.

I have grown since its closing in both my spirituality as well as my belief system.  I was raised a baptist as a child.  I progressed through fundamental religion to metaphysics and from there to a perfect balance in paganism.  And what I mean by perfect balance is the blending of both the Goddess and the God.

I posed the question to my spirit guide as to whether the christian god was the one true god.  The reply was their god is "a" god, not "the" god.  And the Goddess is alive and well.

My purpose for keeping this site up and running is not to try to persuade anyone to come over to my way of thinking - I leave that to others who need to convert to validate.  However, I do feel the need to get back to my roots - literally.  I am an aromatherapist and an herbalist.  Therefore, this site will contain information about taking control of your own body through herbs, plants, and diet.

I am also beginning another journey into the world of herbs by becoming a correspondent student in "Green Witchcraft".  I was informed by the head of the school that it will require, at a minimum, a commitment of 1 year to complete some of the required projects.  As I journey, I will include my findings, my learnings, and my insights on these pages.
